Whats in a name?

How do you choose a Business Name?

Whats in a name?
This may seem like a simple idea; you want to open a business so you just create a name and off you go. Well sometimes it is not so simple.

The Babe of Business has several suggestions in trying to find that perfect business name.

Some of the things I would suggest are not using initials. While it worked for IBM it does not work for most companies.

Also, before settling on a name make sure you can get the domain name reserved. Even if you do not plan to have a website right away, you do not want to spend thousands because someone bought the name from under you so they could charge you big bucks for when you needed it.

Also remember that your name is something you are going to have to live with so make sure to find something that is going to work for you.
