What characteristics does it take to be an entrepreneur?

The Start Up Blog has a list of 5 characteristics that are present in entrepreneurs.

There is one thing I would add to list and that is having a thick skin. Most entrepreneurs are told over and over again that they are going to be failures. Other people will ask them when they are going to get a real job. There is many reasons why people say negative things to entrepreneurs. Some are just jealous that someone else is able to make the jump and they do not have the courage to do it. Others are like my father who had one primary job most of his life and until he passed away in 2004 thought that the concept of having one job and retiring from that job still existed.

Entrepreneurs have to willing to let this negativity to pass them without letting it affect them. The best way to put those naysayers behind you is to become the success you are capable of.
