Five things I love to see on web sites
Here are some suggestions from the T&S web design blog on some things you need to take into consideration when designing your website.
If you are designing it yourself, then these are things that you want to make sure your website has. If you are paying someone else to design the website for you, these are things to look for before making final approval.
Even if you are having someone else design your website, I would suggest you take a look a several websites and see what works and does not work to you. After all, your website may be the first encounter a person has with your business and you want to ensure that it attracts customers to your site not detracts.
A rule of thumb is simple is better. Many times web design geeks will go overboard trying to incorporate every little special feature but many times they will cause your site to run slow and turn off potential customers.
