Are you ready for a vacation?


With summer approaching many people start thinking about vacations. For small business owners that can become harder as you have to worry about your business while you are gone.

Vacations are necessary for everyone to wind down from the your business, so how do you run your business while your gone?

If you run your business by yourself this can be a difficult problem especially if you're a retail store. However, do you have a family or close friend you would trust running your business for a couple of weeks? If I need someone to watch my business for a couple of weeks I have no problem trusting my sister in law to do it. She is trustworthy and is great with numbers so she does a great job of running any business.

If you have employees, are you developing one of them to run the business while you are gone? You should be developing your people so they are growing and you can trust them to run your business.
