Tips for a Successfull Start-Up
Here is an excellent post from the small-bizXpress blog.
I agree 1000% that you need to find something that you enjoy doing. Look toward your hobbies or other interest you have and figure out how you can make money doing. The last thing you want is to be stuck doing something you don't like because no matter if you're doing it for someone else or yourself if you don't like it you will struggle.
I will also agree with the author that you have to expect to work hard for the first couple of years. I hope no one is scared off by this but I would say it will take at least 3 years for you're to really get it going and it will take a lot of hard work to get there.
Also find yourself some good mentors. People you can call up and ask a question of. Not only will they be a good source of information but they can also help you find business and direct you to the right resources.
