One of the things I emphasize over and over is the need for your business to have its own niche to set itself apart from your competitors.

This Seattle PI article talks about a clothing retailer that sets himself apart by letting the customer customize their clothing. The owner is men's fashion designer that saw a need for something more than a normal clothing store.

He found a unique niche to set himself apart from his competitors.
