We have talked about outsourcing certain functions of your business so long as it will not affect the experience your customer has with your business. A virtual assistant doing such items as secretariallinks work is an excellent example of something a small business can outsource.

However, how do you know you are getting the right person? Basically you should interview them the same way you would someone applying for a job with you. Ask them about how they would do the work for them and most important is to get referrals and to follow up on the referrals.
