The Appendix
Filed in archive Writing a Business Plan by John Dornoff on January 8, 2008

The Business Plans Blog tells you what you may and may not need when you do your appendix.
The most important part of the appendix is to cite all your sources of information. This would include any marketing reports
, studies, etc. Think of the appendix as the reference section of your business plan. Say a potential investor is looking at your plan. They are going to be looking in the appendix to find out were you got your information so it is critical that it be accurate and inclusive. A good venture capitalist is going to look up the information contained in it so be sure that you double proof everything.
Remember with a business plan it is better to have too much information than not enough.
