Stressed?

Sometimes despite the fact we enjoy our businesses, stress and other factors can become a factor. It can happen during the busy holidays or when you have a bunch of projects that all come due at the same time. No matter how much you enjoy you business there will be times that are just insane and make you want to scream.

The Start Up Spark has a few suggestions to get through these periods.

The first suggestion is to take a time out or in other words a break. Now if you run your own retail store and happen to be the only employee this is a little more difficult, but find times to take a break from the business. Maybe have someone you trust watch the store for a little while so that you have time to yourself to deal with the stresses of the day.

The next suggestion is to remember to eat. While it would seem to be hard to forget eating, I have found when I am working something, especially when I am busy that the time flies so fast that I have forgotten to find someplace to eat. I will leave the house at 6:00AM and before I know it's pushing two or three in the afternoon. Remember to give yourself a break and to make sure you are eating properly.

Third, don't worry about The Little Things. Now if they are something that will turn into a big thing that is one thing, but often we get so caught up in the little things that will have no effect on us and we stress out for nothing. There are enough big things in the world to worry about, don't worry about the little ones.

We live in a stressful world, even when doing something we love, do what you can to reduce the stress.
