Are you ready for the "Value Age"?
That is the question asked by the Marketing Interaction Blog. It discusses concepts talked about in the book by Sam Richter called "Take the Cold out of Cold Calling". Not only will this book help you with making cold calls but it also has several tidbits of information that you can use in your business every day.
The main point is about the Value Age. I have discussed how companies like Wal-Mart may have lower prices but for the most part many of its competitors, especially its small business competitors have a better value for the dollar.
Also it looks at personalization. This is a topic that you are hearing more about and as a small business you can move faster than the big boys. Many of today's top marketers are having problems with this but there are insights on how you can research broader areas to make your marketing content more customer centric and focused.
Do you think research is a pain? There are several ideas noted to make research more fun and less of a hassle.
