Prepaid credit cards have been a tool for managing personal finances for a long time. But do you think of prepaid credit cards as a business tool?
A lot of businesses have come to think of prepaid credit cards as an easy way to control your employee's spending. With a prepaid credit card you can establish a budget amount for something (say office supplies) and send an employee out to the story knowing that they can't go over budget. Plus, you will get a specific record of exactly where they spent your money.
With prepaid credit cards you can manage expense accounts, as well as purchasing. Employees going on a business trip and you don't want them to have infinite charging abilities? Use a prepaid credit card to manage your company's funds. If they spend it on lattes, well, they spend it on lattes. But at least everyone knows where the limits are.
