In case you missed it, BusinessWeek had a piece earlier this month on the how a number of businesses are cutting back on outsourcing as part of their fiscal response to the recession. Of course, that's hurting outsourcing providers - especially in the IT sector.

The economic slump has become so pronounced that even outsourcing is getting scaled back. Executives who once relied on outside firms to handle certain IT tasks to cut costs are now reining in some outsourcing plans on concern they're too expensive.The article takes a long (three-pages) look at the outsourcing problem and examines its economic implication and its global nature.
