Do you have a motivating workplace?

We have talked about some important items needed to create a successful business, but is your workspace conducive to being motivated? It is hard to be motivated if you work in an environment that is not conduce to being motivated.
The Bootstrapper Blog has 50 ways to make your workspace more motivational. While the list is designed for those of use who work from home, the list can also be helpful for others such as those who run a small retail store, since it is important that your store is designed properly to motivate especially your offices.
From personal experience changing an office can have a major effect on motivation. At one company I worked for the district manager team insisted that the managers improve their offices. One store had a manager who thought it was a waste of time and didn't care but was told to do it. Well, after the office was painted, new furniture moved in, and other improvements, there was a more positive attitude from the management team because they did not have to work in an office that looked like it was in the middle of a war zone.
You may not need to do a complete office remodel, look for the small things that can make a big difference in the quality of your office.
