More About Outsourcing

We have talked about outsourcing a few times. The Entrepreneurs Journey has a entry on why author felt that he should have outsourced sooner plus also talks about Rich Schefren's Internet Manifesto which helped him build his business.
As I have mentioned before outsourcing is fine so long as your customer service is not hurt. After all as a small business owner, customer service is one of your most important weapons.
Here are some things you should think about outsourcing.
-website development. While you should make sure you keep an eye what a developer is doing so that your website does not become too complicated, hiring someone to make you a nice website is getting less expensive all the time.
-Clerical. This is a very popular form of outsourcing. Have someone else type up those letters, do filing, computer work, and all the other chores that keep you from doing other things that can build your business.
There are many other areas where you can outsource. While outsourcing has gotten a bad name do to companies sending jobs overseas, in this case you are giving a local entrepreneur like yourself the opportunity to succeed. In addition this person you outsource to is a source of referrals to build your business.
