Jonathan Swift is best know for such classics as Gulliver's Travels and A Modest Proposal and he has some pearls of wisdom that may help you in your daily lives as provided by the Positivity Blog.

First up on the list is: "Don't fear being wrong". I think it is human nature to want to be right but there is going to be times that you are wrong, in fact it may happen more than you want to think about. If you are wrong just make sure you learn your lesson and use it to make you a better person and do better the next time.

Next up is that money is useful but the love of it is hazardous. We cannot live our lives without money. But we also do not want the money to control us and our lives to the point were money controls our destiny. The love of money will make you dumb things that will ultimately be destructive for you life.

Another pearl of wisdom is to go further than you think. We tend to think we can only go so far but often we can push ourselves much further than we think. As I have mentioned before, are you going to stop right before hitting your goal?

You must also be good to yourself. Often times we neglect our own bodies because we are so worried about other things but we must take care of ourselves or our bodies will give up on us. One way to take care of your body is to have a proper diet. Make sure you are getting the proper nutrition but also make sure you are not over eating.

I have mentioned before about Zig Ziglar and his philosophy on quiet time. Set time aside for peace and quiet. You may want to take time in the morning just to relax or maybe you do some Zen time in the middle of the day. Just make sure you are getting the quiet time that your system needs to deal with the hectic life you lead.

There is several other suggestions so be sure to take a look and see what pearls with help you in your life.
