Is it time to start your own business?

Bizchicksrules has four indicators showing that it is time for you to start your own business.
Indicator number one is having a specific idea in mind already. The second indicator is that you have done research to make sure your idea is feasible. We have talked about all you should do to find out if your business is going to be a success. Remember to ask yourself what is going to set yourself apart from your competitors.
Indicator number three is having a source of funds to bridge the gap until you make are making money. Do you have enough savings so that you can survive until your business is profitable? Do you have a source of other income? How much do you need to live on? Do you have enough savings? These are all things you want to consider. If you are single and no children it is a lot easier than someone with 3 children. Make sure you are ready.
The final indicator is that running a business is all you think about. Do you spend all day at your job thinking about how you would do things better if you were on your own, or how you could make more money? Do you have employees or a boss that has you thinking that you need a change? Do you wake up everyday dreading having to go to work? These are some of the signs that it is for a change.
Starting your own business will be wonderful, will be daunting, will be a headache, will be exhilarating, in other words it will be an adventure. If you are ready, go for it and make it a success. The biggest thing I can say is to take a line from Mr. Magorium Wonder's Emporium: Believe in Yourself!!
