The first thing see suggest is emailing old customers/clients. Once again I have told you how important it is to have a good rapport with customers and get their emails. If you have not seen certain customers in a few weeks or months send them an email and find out how there are doing. You do not want to be selling in this email, just check up with them like you would old friends.
Her second suggestion is to write a thank you note to five recent customers. Any customer that makes a big purchase you should be sending a thank you note to. But this could be five random people that have been to you in the last couple of weeks.

. She also suggests partnering up or co-marketing with complementary businesses. If you have locally owned association then become a member of it and fine stores that complement you but do not compete. See what kind of advertising and marketing projects you can work on. If you are in an area with a bunch of locally owned stores get together and start an association of merchants. You can jointly market the business plus you will have a voice in the locally planning dept. and city hall to keep your area vibrant.
She also suggests sponsoring a blog and having a newsletter. We have already talked about you having a blog to keep in good contact with your customers. Now bring in more customers in 2008.
