You must be able to learn what your competitors are doing right and wrong to make yourself more competitive, but can you learn things from other industries?

Of course the answer to the question is yes, but what kind of things can you take from someone that is not in your same industry?
You can see trends when it comes to demographics, what kinds of advertising programs that are working for them that can be adapted to your use, the kind of partnerships with other businesses they have made, and ideas to retain customers are just many of the ideas that you can take from other industries.
The HomeBizBlogger has some items that you can take from the luxury travel Industry that will get you started.
