Finding the Right Bank...
Filed in archive Loans & Financing by John Dornoff on October 11, 2007
The linked article talks about River Bank in Spokane, Washington. The bank focuses on the needs of small business customers.

Before singing up with any bank I would recommend doing the following:
1. Meet with the people running the bank, especially the branch manager and discuss your needs as a small business owner
. 2. Ask for references from other small business owners and see how they like the bank.
3. While sitting in the lobby, see how the bank employees treat their customers.
If the employees seem only to care about signing you up for services, that they don't want to take the time to answer your questions, they don't want to give references, or you do not like the way the tellers treat customers, find another bank.
Remember the bank is going to be on of your important partners in your business that you will be working with on a regular basis. Find the bank that wants to be a part of your success.
