Keeping Up With Customers: A Phone List Is So Yesterday

How are you going to keep up with your customers?

This article from the New York Times goes over many of the software programs that are available for keeping track of your customers including the Outlook plus other premium software programs such as ACT.

Currently I have been using Outlook but my needs have been pretty basic. However, in the future I am going to need a more complete package and this article is a good primer on the packages offered.

Another aspect of the article is some of the outsourcing options that are available. If you have need from higher end software but don't want to deal with the tech issues these can be a good source for you.

Before purchasing any software, make sure you have time to work with the software and see how easy it is to use. Do not pay a huge price for software that you and your employees cannot easily use and only get frustrated with.
