Capture those ideas

Are you capturing those important ideas?
I have mentioned before how important it is to keep something with you in order to write down those important ideas that come to your mind.
Just today I was on the bus heading toward my Toastmaster's meeting when some ideas for a project I am working on popped into my head. Fortunately I had my trusty spiral notebook with me and I just opened it up and wrote down the ideas.
Also have something with you that you can write on. I have a leather portfolio that holds a legal pad that I often carry but have found a spiral notebook to be more convenient. The Start Up Spark author mentions that she has a notebook called 'schemes and dreams notebook that she will carry around with her.
What you use is totally up to you. I tried carrying one of the smaller pocket sized spiral notebooks for a while but found it to be too small but may work for you. You may like using a regular day timer to write your notes in. Find something that works for you and that you will always want to have with you.
Nothing would be worse that having some important idea pop into your head and forgetting it because you did not have something to write it down on.
