Your business plan is supposed to be clear and visionary – allowing you to see the future course of your business. VentureBeat recently took a look at a new tool designed to make it easier to write a business plan that acomplishes that task: Plan Cruncher.
Plan Cruncher was developed for a Dutch investment firm, Lunatech Ventures. It is an especially useful tool for startups. The program gives you six sets of questions to work through in writing a plan. It asks you to describe the main idea behind your business, to examine the team you plan to have, to look at your product, to examine your revenue modeland then to articulate your funding requirements. The idea is that if you can do these things, you have a business idea that could work and you have the outline of a business plan.
