A Video on Writing a Business Plan
Filed in archive Writing a Business Plan by John Dornoff on February 19, 2008
Do you need help developing your business plan?

This video gives you some ideas on how you can get your business plan going including how you can get your business plan written.

The first and cheapest idea is to buy some software to do your business plan. This is an excellent idea since the software is so inexpensive. However, before you buy a software program I would recommend you go to the websites of the software makers and see if they have trial versions or samples. This way you can see how well the software works and how easy it is for you to use.

Next it talks about classes you can take from the Small Business Administration. You may also check out your local community colleges as they may have programs. While my former community college dropped their entrepreneurship program but many community colleges still have classes you can take.

The final suggestion is to hire a consultant. While this is a great idea from a consultants point of view (since I am one), you would be better off investing in your business.

There is other information in the video to get you started.
